Boss themes are among some of my favorite type of songs in video game music. I've heard fast paced boss beats and I've heard some pretty sad, melancholy tunes. I've heard it all. I'm quite fond of the 2nd Chrono boss theme, and the one of the ones in Final Fantasy X, but it's spoilerish if I say who you fight, so I'll just say it's around the end of the game.
