I've played Super Mario 64 more times than I can count. Naturally, I've died in the game more times than I can remember. I didn't really stop and think of how many methods there were to die in Super Mario 64. But someone did. I'm not sure if there's a set number of ways for Mario to be killed in the game, but Nintendo64Movies compiled a video of Mario meeting his demise a total of 128 times. Quite the hilarious video.

I always hated drowning in SM64
Along with Sonic games, drowning in Super Mario 64 was one of the the most terrifying ways to die.
