Custom Covers

This is not my first attempt at making a custom cover, but it is the first I'm extremely proud of. I threw this together in Paint.NET (Too poor too aford PhotoShop) and I'm still learning how to use the program, but I pretty much got the result I wanted here. I'm putting together some big SNES and NES compilation music albums and after seeing some of the covers for the Famicom 20th Anniversary Sound Tracks series, I decided to go somewhat in that direction. Each screen shot used represents music that will be featured in each game. Can you recognize what game each screen is from?

2 of them give me pause when trying to figure them out.

One of them looks like an SNES version of River City Ransom and the other I can only assume is a Legend of Zelda game that didn't make it to the states.

Good eye on the River City Ransom pic! The full name of the game is Shin Nekketsu Konuha Kunio Tachi no Banka. It's a sequel to River City Ransom that never made it to the states.

The other SNES game that looks unfamiliar to you is Do-Re-Mi Fantasy. The character that looks like Link is actually Milon, from Milon's Secret Castle. It's a very fun SNES platformer. It's out on the Wii's Virtual Console.

Ha, I saw that AVGN vid last week. Hilarious stuff. Thankfully, Do-Re-Mi Fantasy is a million times better than Milon's Secret Castle.
