The EarthBound games, specifically Mother 3, is one of the few games that strikes a fine balance between humorous and serious. One minute, your sides will be hurting from laughing so hard, the next you'll find yourself in tears. Spanning only three games, this Nintendo franchise has a very devoted fan base. Not bad when you consider only one game, EarthBound (which was actually Mother 2) was the only game in the series to be released outside of Japan. Mother (also known as EarthBound Zero) and Mother 3 have been given fan translation treatments so if you aren't against emulation, that's more than likely your only means to experience those games in a language you can understand. Enjoy some art from a series that definitely needs more love.
