Mutant Mudds is a recently released 2D action game for download on the 3DS eShop. Since I don't own the game, there's not much I can say about the gameplay, but I can comment on the music, which is to say, it's quite good. If you love chiptunes and NES-style music, you'll be grinning ear to ear as you listen to the Mutant Mudds OST. The instruments and samples used for the audio remind me the music found in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Gimmick! and Blaster Master. While it may not be in the same league as those classic soundtracks, Mutant Mudds soundtrack is so good that it practically transports you back to the NES' head day.
