Xbox 360/Kinect $99 Bundle Is a Ripoff

I was just thinking that we could use some price cuts on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. I mean, these consoles are over five years old. Well it seems Microsoft has decided to offer gamers a deal. At Microsoft stores, you can get the 360 with 4GB of hard drive space and a Kinect for $99. There's more. Upon purchase of this bundle, you're locked into a two year contract for Xbox Live at $14.99 a month. The total for that comes out to $460. Not exactly what I'd call cheap.

Now I'm sure some of you are thinking "$99 for a 4GB 360 and Kinect isn't bad at all." The other option is getting a 360 with way more hard drive space and spending less. Do you have any idea how easy it is to kill 4 GB? My MP3 player was 8 GB  by default and I knew it wouldn't be enough so a bought a 16GB expansion card to increase storage space. And as for Xbox Live, why should you even have to pay to get online? Both Nintendo and Sony let you jump online with their consoles for nothing.

The 360 is old enough to where there should be no contract involved. Only 4GB of space is a joke and Kinect hardly has any interesting games. All told, this bundle is a ripoff.
